Structural Engineering

Boulder Community Health Anderson Medical Center

JVA was the structural engineer of record for a new, 70,000 square foot building for the Boulder Community Hospital Foothills Campus. The structure supported a two-story 45,000 square foot medical office building over underground parking. The upper levels were designed for strict vibration criteria and were connected to an adjacent existing building by an elevated pedestrian bridge. A portion of the roof contained planters for a rooftop garden used to grow food for the campus cafeteria.
