J.R. Spung has been promoted to Associate. J.R. is the Regional Civil Project Manager for the Glenwood Springs office and manages all civil projects on Colorado’s western slope. He has worked and lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for the past 15 years and been with JVA since 2018. He has been the designer and project manager of residential, infrastructure, municipal, recreational, subdivision and resort projects. He has extensive project experience on the Western Slope including projects in Aspen, Snowmass, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Vail, Avon, Eagle, Crested Butte and Somerset
Kathryn Martinez has been promoted to Associate. Kathryn has been with JVA since 2017 and is the Human Resource Specialist working in the Boulder office. She has a diverse background in business administration spanning over 30 years. Kathryn oversees HR processes for the firm including recruitment, employee benefits, insurance, and payroll. In her new role, Kathryn will help lead JVA’s Administration department as part of the Corporate Management Team.
